• 3 - The number of times you will be analy raped each day
  
• 60 - The number of years you will be sentenced in prison
  
• 8 - The number of years you will survived before being murdered by your fellow inmates

Having worked in a prison system, I will confirm that in general child rapists don't last all that long.

More in line with child sex predators, especially on the men's side of the prison.

The company that I work for has call centers in prisons and it is not as uncivilized as it is sometimes portrayed on TV. The men's side can be brutal at times and is definitely racially divided, but you aren't living every minute in fear unless you choose to participate in gang activity.

The women's side is _completely_ different. It is total manipulation without much threat of physical violence. They will talk and talk and talk and try to weasel their way into compromising the officers so they can get what they want. I know a lot of people who prefer to work on the men's side for this very reason.

No matter what way you cut it, sex offenders in general, and child sex offenders especially, have it rough and have a much shorter life expectancy.

Depends on where they go. Not all complexes have that kind of distinction. More often than not they go into solitary confinement for their own protection.

In the American prison system, rape among men is not a matter of who is going to get raped but a matter of when the inmate will get raped. It is a concerted effort in the US to protect prisoners from such things but that is more pretentious speech for reporters than what is actually the truth. If you go to prison in the US you are going to be raped and it will not matter who you are, or what you did. That is the prison life in the USA and I'm sure it is just as real in other countries. Child molesters have less of a life expectancy than those in prison for life but just because a person goes to prison for something other than a sexual offense does not mean they will not be raped in prison. It is a matter of when that will happen, not a matter of who it is.

I'm sure some people can afford physical protection in the pen but not everyone unless they request solitary confinement and not all pens will grant the request. Living in the pen is survival of the fittest, in some pens more than others.

This is part of the reason why inmates come out better criminals than when they came in.

From what I understand, guys getting butt-raped and shanked and punked and whatnot in prison is largely (though not exclusively) an American thing if we're talking the industrialized world.

In Russia you don't have to worry so much about getting fucked or stabbed. It's more like you have to worry about malnutrition, disease, and the cold.

Somebody who goes in for some mickey mouse drug charge or for stealing a Honda shouldn't have to be buttfucked into submission as part of their punishment. Though it seems many of the "Law n' Order" types seem to think that that's how it oughta be.
