I confess. I have a degree of loyalty to the my homeland that is probably typical to that of any U.S. veteran after 20 years of active duty military service. However, when I attend veteran's organizational events, am asked to stand for prayer, and forced to hear people prattle on about how God loves and blesses America, well...

God Loves America Best on FunnyOrDie.com

The Doyle and Debbie Show is sublime parody, simultaneously lampooning and idolizing country music's tradition of iconic duos. Bruce Arntson and Jenny Littleton take audiences on a freewheeling joyride through a wickedly funny script and slew of equally hilarious original songs. Over the past year and a half, Doyle and Debbie have developed a rabid cult following in Nashville, TN.

Funny, but if you ask any fundie, they will say that America is a waste bin of sin quickly going to hell in a hand basket.

America (not to be confused with that den of sin and wickedness, the United States) is the only nation on the earth (Israel comes in a close second) that Jesus loves.
There is even the godly American elephant, which is Jesus favorite animal. We must get America turned around to make it the land the Founding Father's had intended it to be, a Christian country that follows the Bible!

the morals of the masses,
how smelly they make the great back-yard

America, it is said is a beacon of light for god in the world... and also a complete hell hole contolled by satan by those very same people. Hypocracy goes hand in hand with christianity like stink on shit.

Fred Phelps came specifically to mind, for me. I think he's the one that has not only godhatesfags.com but godhatesamerica.com too.

Maybe this is as good a place as any to rant a little about "God Bless America" bumper stickers. They've bugged me for some time, I think esp. since 9/11, Iraq, et. al.

There's nothing wrong with God (if he/she/it exists) blessing America, but it just has a really self-centered, maybe even arrogant air about it to me. Almost like Fuck The Rest of the World, Bless US! Maybe a lot of people don't view it that way but it just kind of bugs me. Beyond that even, I'm just really not that "patriotic". I think I'm much more concerned on the whole with humanity in general...

This video would be very funny except for the fact that as a person who lives on America's doorstep, this is precisely what we think Americans believe. :)
