Hey, this stuff isn't free. Someone pays for it. A one-time contribution will not upgrade your account, but if you are interested in upgrading your account and obtaining larger storage capacity and some extra posting and editing privileges, then consider becoming a monthly or yearly contributor. You can upgrade your account at any time. Also, you can give one-time donations as often as you like.
Seriously, this site is not a money maker -- the donations only barely cover costs -- sometimes. And, there is no monetary compensation received for all the time put in by the many volunteers. Everyone behind the scenes at Ex-C has a real job.
