I wasn't sure where to post this, but I really think that this is pertinent to an ex-c's life, especially when you are facing a monkey on your back and a large majority of programs to help you are faith based. I have a cousin who is a member of Reformer's Unanimous. It is faith based and at times I look at these things and wonder if it is a requirement to have a spiritual faith in order to really benefit at all? Well the following blog REALLY seemed to address that in my mind and what I always thought to begin with. Short of them demanding you participate in prayer and salvation, having enough humility to realize you are flawed to the point it is a detriment in your life should be motivation to follow the program---minus the holy rolling.

Anyways, the blog is titled My Faithlessness: The Atheist Way Through AA

Here is the link to the blog by Marya Hornbacher, an editor with CNN. Yeah, I was shocked at the usefulness coming from this as well considering who she works for! LOL
