I called out a god-botherer on his delusions. Not a problem, there. No. But the two shit-brained fuck-knuckles who decided I was being "mean" ? They were a problem.
First was the god-botherer himself, patting himself on the back for the oh-so-clever "No, U" response to my request for tangible, testable evidence for god's existence. He continued to insist that I should provide evidece for the lack of god, even though he, as the one making a positive claim ("X exists"), is required to present evidence for his claim. GB just kept going on in that vein, throwing out gems such as "you haven't really looked for god" and claiming that his "feeling god" was sufficient evidence for god's existence.
Second was an accommodationist douchebag going, "play nice, you're being mean, blah blah blah," and then comparing me to Fred motherfucking PHELPS! All for pointing out that Delusional Man is Delusional, and that grown-ups don't have imaginary friends.
On top of all that, I was banned from a FB group for calling out a nasty racist bitch on her privilege. She was going on and on about how EBT customers get, like $400 in benefits, buy nothing but junk food, and have matching designer wallets and hand-bags and brand-new Escalades. Hello, "Welfare Queen" stereotype, much?
And then she busted out with some bullshit about how "[she's] seen the balances 'those people' have," (exact words!) completely ignoring the fact that a $400 food benefit is usually meant for a family of three or four people, and isn't going to stretch all that far without buying a lot of cheapo process foods.
This is the same shit-brained jesus-fucker who claimed she was being "discriminated against" for being asked to work on sundays, and oh, but she can't go to a later service because blah blah blah (I stopped listening at that point). She wouldn't know real discrimination if it came up and bit her on the ass!
Apparently I'm once again in the wrong for speaking out against hate and bigotry, and pointing out that the reason EBT customers tend to buy a lot of processed/junk food is because it's cheap and abundant.
I hate humanity so very much right now.

WMDKitty,
I just now saw your post, but I'm just on my way to bed (to try to sleep again).
I just have only one thing to say, and that is, "Thank you for being you!" Y'see, I live on only SSI, and $185 a month of EBT--and, while I hate to think of you being so upset, I truly do appreciate your getting so irate.
Keep on fighting the good fight!

So why get involved with these idiots in the first place. If expressing your opinion is causing you problems and gets your blood pressure up, stop.
Yeah i agree, you never get anywhere with these people and you only end up frustrated.

Everyone on welfare should appear poor, right? People on welfare are not allowed to have anything nice. We wouldnt want anyone buying these people an iPhone or a pair or Nikes now, would we? People on welfare should always look and feel socially repressed and less well-off than others. But wait a sec...America was built on the foundation that all people are created equal! Nah, silly idea.
Scientists used to believe that Christians used circular reasoning in their arguments. But with recent improvements in instrumentation they have discovered Christians actually use elliptical reasoning.

I haven't seen any of the douchebags I'd been dealing with, today. Yet.
And I really want to see junk food prices jacked up, and healthy-foodz prices come down to where fresh fruit and veg and organic and gluten-free stuff is cheap and abundant.
