I've seen some comments on here from people saying that Christianity broke their brains. I think it broke mine too!!!

I had a dream the other night that I got a phone call from an older Christian guy, he said he'd got the Emperor Nigeria to come to my house to make me a musician in the church, but when he got there he saw that I hadn't vacuumed my floor, so he wasn't going to put me in the band any more. LOL!!!

In the dream I got really pissed off at the guy and started yelling at him for not asking me if I wanted to be in the church band, and I told him his religion was a fairytale and I didn't believe it. I heard him writing something on a piece of paper over the phone, I think it was something about Christian counciling, then he started firing scriptures at me and I yelled at him and told him to shove it up his ass.

I don't dream a whole lot, and when I do I rarely remember it. But on those rare occasions that I DO remember my dreams, some of them are so fucked up that I dare not put them in writing. Seriously- Aeon Flux and Hannibal Lecter ain't shit compared to some of the dreams I've had.

But one of my favorite ones that I can share involves an engine made out of meat that could run for all of eternity.

Red star....I remembered so clearly when I stopped drinking alcohol many years ago and the drinking dreams were so real! They scared me. I actually thought I started drinking again.

This reminds me of your dream and what your subconcious is 'fighting' even while you are asleep. For example, I would say that 'the Emperor Nigeria' could be a symbol for God and the floor being a mess, could be your mind as you work through deconverting.
Not being allowed in the band anymore could mean...you are an 'outcast' in christianity's eyes....
Finally, in the dream, you told him to 'shove it up his ass'.

I'd say you're well on the way to healing according to this disturbing dream!! Now go to bed tonight and dream a nice dream!!

The dream was disturbing while I was having it but it was pretty funny after I woke up and thought about it . I went from belief to unbelief very quickly after I learned some facts, I value facts greatly and refuse to deny reality in favor of truth.

I tend to have reoccurring dreams. There is an empty field in front of our house. In my dreams, there is an old abandoned house in that field. Whenever I go up there, I am looking for something. Last time, it was a phone book.

That's an interesting one. If I have an interesting dream I tell my Mother, so now I dream about telling my Mother about my dream. Fail. Lol

I had a dream once where i had to gouge out the eyes of demon posessed babys before they stole my stuff once.

I dreamed last night I was on So You Think You Can Dance (the American dance version of American idol) and I was doing pretty well. Actually I was trying to dance poorly on purpose bc I wanted to leave the show, but I was so damn talented even my bad dancing was great. So I kept getting voted to the next round and was a fan favorite.

I had a dream I was peeing and no matter how much I peed, I still needed to go again. Then I woke up and realized I had to go REALLY bad.

I also have those dreams where you start to fall or punch someone and end up waking up because you actually kicked your legs out IRL. Poor Skittles is usually sleeping with me when that happens and he's all, "What?! What's going on?!"

I have that one, often combined with "every toilet I can find is either broken, clogged, or so nasty that I'd rather squat behind a bush" (and not a bush in sight!)

I dreamed I went to a summer camp and everyone had to be evacuated because Iran was threatening to bomb the camp. I have no idea why. I got in a car with some other people and eventually we were safely out of the camp. While we were driving, a person next to me was smoking a cigarette. Then she caught fire and just sat there and I noticed she was a giant doll. No one put the fire out, so the car burned up and we all died. Somehow, it turned out that the whole thing was a Stephen King story.

I had a dream that my family and I were at a large shopping center and we were going down all these windy stairs to a shop. They were selling knives and I was trying to figure out which one I wanted.

There was some kind of collapse and my brother and I couldn't find my mother. We went back down all the windy stairs to try and find her but we couldn't get down to the last level because it was buried in rubble.

We managed to get down there somehow and there was someone digging through the rubble.
They dig up my Mother who had died from suffocation. Not nice!!!

My Mother has asthma, it's only mild but it's been playing up lately which is probably why I had this dream.
