'Honey Boo Boo' and Bill Clinton's DNC Speech Tie in Ratings

After trumping individual cable and network coverage of the Republican National Convention in the key demographic, the TLC series takes its first hit and only ties the night's strongest news coverage (CNN) among adults 18-49. [Snipped]

Duh. Honey Boo Boo's hard core fans are Republicans and have no interest in what a Democrat might have to say, particularly if it is said in complete, grammatical sentences. God, guns, guts and giant pickup trucks - the South will rise agin!

You don't even read the shit that you post, do you? From the article:

(Aggregate coverage of the DNC clearly eclipsed Honey Boo Boo by all measurements, and DNC ratings reflect the entire 10 p.m. hour, with Honey Boo Boo only airing from 10 to 10: 30 p.m.)

So yeah, the ratings tie if you look at only ONE of the channels that broadcast the speech. Do you ever get tired of being spoon-fed misleading information?

But more importantly, how about we compare the ratings for Romney's convention speech vs. Bill Clinton's speech?

Combined coverage of Romney's speech got 11 million viewers. But ratings for 'Big Brother' far exceeded those of every single channel airing Romeny's speech (see how that works?).

Combined coverage of Bill Clinton's speech got 25 million viewers. AND HE ISN'T EVEN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.

That's right. Obama's attack-dog beat Romney 25 million to 11 million. And what's more:

Obama's speech got 40 million viewers.

Still feeling confident that Romney's gonna win? :HaHa:

I saw a commercial for the Boo Boo show. That was enough. I swear, the average IQ of America drops each new television season. Vig, save yourself - don't look.

And don't let anyone else in Russia know that this is happening here, or they'll be tempted to nuke us.

I googled it and got a youtube vid of a chubby little southern girl shooting silly string. I didn't get it.

They have plenty to be embarrassed about themselves

Okay, I'll admit that that's pretty goofy, but it doesn't come anywhere near as close to making me want to claw my own eyes out and shove railroad spikes through my ears like that fat redneck and her fat fucktarded redneck family do. I'm sorry, I can't even bring myself to type the goddamn name of the show for fear of throwing up.

That's getting there. I wouldn't want to listen to that all the time, but I could still see myself dancing to it at an Eastern European wedding.* I think the fat American rednecks are still worse.

*My wife and I once went to the wedding of a Polish couple, and the band was a Polish Euro-Pop sounding group. They were pretty ridiculous, but they were fun.

Some of you are in such denial. When you have children, you will do equally insane things to/for them. Most of you on here who are super embarrased, I can tell, have never had children. You find that when you have chidren..especially little girls, you will find yourself doing/allowing things you SWEAR to high heaven will NEVER be done becaue the wife will demand it....and there is a saying in the south...."If mama ain't happy....Ain't NOBODY HAPPY".....;)

I have never heard of honey boo boo. In reality, everyone I know that watched one convention, watched the other, if for nothing else simply to shoot down each speaker. I'd bet the viewership wasn't any higher on the RNC.

Yeah, some of my best times have been dancing and goofing around with the Russians listening to cheesy pop music.
