Goodbye Jesus

Green Christmas

(Apologies to Irving Berlin)

I’m dreaming of a green Christmas
Just like those I knew as a child
Where the trees are growing
With flowers blooming,
And days are sunny, warm and mild.

I’m dreaming of a green Christmas
With every Christmas card I send
May your days be merry, my friend,
And the Christmas spirit know no end.

That is how I wish Christmas would be like where I live. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the cold, the snow, and the ice for a while. You did a good job Ricky. 3.gif

Blue and yellow and green.

Like sea, beach, beer and palm trees.

Sun and people who do not give a shit.

Away from having cold feet and no need for hot beverages.

Just come down here. In south Florida, your poem is actually true. Its 80 degrees right now.

It never feels like Christmas here for people who are from more northern states.
