"No one has ever seen or felt electricity?"

I  can construct an experiment for that. :-)

What is lightning if it isn't electricity? The arc on an arc welder? What is that? :-)

I have felt electricity and I have the scars to prove it.  It is like the very power of Thor's hammer rushing through your veins.

4th Grade Science Quiz? I saw no science in that quiz. I feel bad for the fourth grader who received such praise for the nonsense she/he learned and demonstrated in the exam. That child probably really believes it all! So sad.

What is the light of an incandescent light bulb, the static that fries electronics? What is the that spark that comes off of my taser?

I went to a christian day school, and my science classes were horrible.  But they were nowhere near THIS bad.  Holy shit I wish I hadn't stumbled in here this morning...

I went to one too. Oddly enough my parents had me read books on evolution at home but wanted me to learn about creation at school. I can tell you by about 9 what I had decided was a load of crap and didn't pay much attention to after that...I still got a better education being a private school over what I could have gotten at the local public schools so at least it was not all negative.

It is also the primary reason I never believed any of this. My parents gave me a choice after presenting me with the "facts" of both sides. Looking back it was strange but it was the same thing that they had been given in youth so I think they felt they owed it to their own children to give them that choice up front before the influences took hold from either side.

Raise your hand if gawd blessed your childhood with the "A Beka" curriculum.

I think the teachers) who created the above weren't so much ignorant as they were deliberately

deceiving. bill

The kids in these schools are going to be fucked for college. This is almost as bad as being completely uneducated.

Q. Whats the difference between a child abuser and a christian?

A. A child abuser will always feel guilty.
