The Insanity Of Christianity: Hell

Plain and simple, the doctrine of endless suffering is the worse thing that has ever been made. Just imagine it: Fire that never goes out and consumes you on and on forever, the screams of intense agony, the tears of pain and despair all the while being bullied by sadistic and psychopathic monsters who probably taunt you endlessly. You would yell apologies and beg to be freed by god but your yells go unheard while god is happy with those who were able to enter heaven through faith in the works of Jesus. You will never see the light of day again, you will fall into madness as you succumb to existential despair, hating your very existence. Some fundamental Christians go even further with another torture method, they make up hellish stories to scare people into converting. Have you ever heard of Mary Baxter? This christian stated that Jesus entered into her home and told her that the purpose of her existence was to write a book ( called divine revelation) to tell of the harsh reality of hell and the beauty of heaven. She claims this was a near death experience, impossible. Baxter did not die, she was taken from her body by Jesus, and her NDE contradicts the millions of reported NDEs. Baxter was taken into hell ( which she claimed was a physical place shaped like a human body) where she witnessed the torture of several unrepenters. Jesus was with her the entire time. The unrepenters were begging Christ to give them another chance but he refused making statements like ''you should have repented'' ''judgment has been set'' while Baxter was hurting for these unfortunate souls, wanting them to go free. Another fairytale is Angelica Zombrano's NDE, where she claimed she saw people like Michael Jackson and Selena in hell, her message was basically, if you listen to music you will burn in hell for all eternity. It's madness, plain and simple. You have to be really gullible to believe that, yet many believed it, almost all were Christians. They were praising the lies as if they sounded happy! Is this really how they view their god?

Eternal damnation is psychotic and twisted period. No one can convince me that it is not. How many of you have heard that ''god is love but also righteous/just/vengeance?'' Anyone with eternal torture on their scale is anything but loving and certainly not just. Many Christians may say that ''you don't understand god or his ways are not like ours.'' It should be safe to say that if god truly is what he is ''perfect, loving and wise'' than vengeance is never on his mind! If God is ''all loving'' than there is no room for hatred in him. The new testament doesn't say that god is ''somewhat loving'' or partially loving. The NT says god is all loving ''completely loving'' it goes even deeper to say he is the very biblical definition of love, that he is love. Bible: Love is patient, kind, doesn't boast, is not rude, is not jealous, is not selfish, is not easy to anger and doesn't keep any record of wrongs: Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth, it always protects, always believes, always hopes, always perseveres and never fails! We humans are all for vengeance and punishment for the wrong, yet we can be loving at times but still we believe in vengeance, well not everybody. Satan also believed in revenge and injustice, so that is why he tempted Adam and Eve, to get back at god! Vengeance is egotistical and we all agree it's bad! If God is vengeful like Satan and humans than he's no better than Satan or humans. This makes god out to be an egomaniac, like Hitler and Saddam Hussein. Since god is perfect and our ways are not his ways than god doesn't do evil or even believe in it. Eternal cruelty in hell is the ultimate act of vengeance, not justice and not even punishment. When you punish someone, you intend to steer them straight, how can anybody be steered straight if they have no hope of ever getting out of hell? This is Evil and incredibly vile, yet Christians continue to support and praise their god ( probably because they are scared of him and dare not question him.) Fear is the ultimate motivation, it is the most effective ploy to make mind slaves out of people and make them do what you want. Fear however is a poor excuse to do the right thing, the fear of hell has crippled the minds of people adult and child alike. Another problem is with accountability. Many Christians say that very young children are in mortal danger of hell when they reach the age which they will be accounted for sins. If this is the case, than having children is a terrible mistake. You have brought in the world someone who might go to hell if they reject Jesus as lord and savior. The most compassionate thing a soon to be mother should do would be to abort her unborn child, it would be the moral thing to do, by doing this, you have saved a soul from the ''wrath of god.'' Though many Christians are against abortion and call it satanic. I even read an article in which a woman killed her child because she was deeply afraid that he would go to hell, this is another example about the evil of hell. If hell is true than in the end, most of humankind will be lost for all eternity in the lake of fire, the devil sitting on his throne, laughing about how he got 70% of the population while god out of anger, not because he was impotent, saved only a few. Christians admit that Satan is winning and will beat the all powerful deity by the end of the world, so Satan is really all powerful, as if he has everyone fooled, making him worthy to be called ''the father of lies. To further add to the whacky, it isn't a concept found in Judaism, yet is one of the foundational themes of Christianity which claims to be the fulfillment of the Jewish religion.

This is something that makes me wonder more about the authenticity of the "gospels", because the Jews (who don't have a damnation concept) would have said something to Jesus about his use of the concept and yet nothing is recorded about that. Then again, the gospels are written in Greek, and the Greeks did have the concept of a burning underworld (likely inspired by volcanic activity). This lends credence to the idea that they were never part of a Jewish church in Jerusalem, but created later in Greece.

Hell is an evil myth created centuries ago by the Catholic Church to control the masses through FEAR. It should be obvious that the concepts of a loving God and an eternal Hell are diametrically opposed and can't both be true at the same time. How could God be all loving if there were human beings whom he claimed to love being tormented forever with no hope of reprieve? Hell makes no sense as a punishment because punishment is a temporary condition meant to teach a lesson. And punishing finite sin infinitely is evil and goes against the concept of a loving God...
