FreeThinkerNZ
One year ago today the NZ parliament voted in favour of marriage equality. I am so proud that we were one of the first in the world. In 2005 NZ brought in civil union for same sex couples, which was great, but in 2013 real marriage equality came to NZ with marriage itself being available to all couples. There was much opposition from xians, bless their hearts, but humanism and rationalism won the day.
JadedAtheist
NZ beats Australia once again in the fight for equality. Hopefully we get around to it at some point soon.
