Googledotman
I was thinking about the movie X-men Days of Future Past and how they were able to change the entire timeline of the X-Men series with time travel. If I could go back in time and tell myself I deconverted, I would. But I wouldn't be very diplomatic about it like in the movie. I'd be an asshole! *time machine appears in 2004*Me @14: What is the future like? Me @24: Well, the Wii is the best selling console of the sixth generation, as you can see in my profile pic, I'm about to graduate college, and Christianity is bullshit!Me @14: Wait what? Me @24: You heard me, mother fucker, you're stupid for believing that shit. *Me @24 hops into time machine, urinating on a bible and giving myself the middle finger while saying...* Me @24: Stupid little Christ-tard!Me @14: NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason why I would be so blunt, is because I hated who I was as a Christian, and my deconversion process took 2 years. I'd much rather it be simple and quick, like pulling off a bandaid. What about you?
seven77
I would tell myself to stay true to me. Not to give into my loneliness. I wouldn't be an asshole or anything. I would just tell myself not to focus so much on stupid shit that was out my control, like helping drug-addicted family members. I would also tell myself not to waste five years praying for my health to improve. And I wouldn't waste time waiting on God to guide me, to reveal my purpose and all that shit either. Basically, my message would be: Don't waste your 20s!!!!!
