Goodbye Jesus

A Letter From Hell!

I’ve been FREE from the fundamentalist Christian cult for almost 15 years now. Is fear-based shit like this what Christian evangelism has come to now? I felt nothing but revulsion and disgust as I watched this. How anyone could feel anything other than that is beyond me. I certainly did not feel evangelized or like maybe I should reconsider my total rejection of the Christian faith. This is nothing but religion-based fear, guilt, and shame in action and it is NOT okay. If you are a Christian, you should feel shame that shit like this gets released publicly, and you should feel morally repulsed by the morally reprehensible concept of Hell. The concept of a loving God (though the Bible as a whole does not support that belief) and the concept of an eternal hell where human beings are tormented endlessly forever are diametrically opposed and cannot be true at the same time.

I am not even slightly concerned now that there might be a Hell or that I or people that I love might go there. I recognize Hell for the evil, fear-based, morally reprehensible myth that it is. But I wasted years of my younger life needlessly worrying about my family and friends going to Hell and needlessly concerning myself with my own fears of not being a true believer and ending up in Hell. What a total and complete waste of time and emotional energy that was, and unfortunately, I will never get that 15 years of my life back to live them as I should have — in a much more productive and in a much more loving and compassionate way.

There really are no depths that these people won't sink to, are there?

"Don't bother me", you damn right.  If any of this were true, the one to blame is god.  I shall not be bothered by his mistakes.  He who made humanity knowing that most would be condemned to this hell.  He who in his unimaginable narcissism created billions of people in the hope that some would worship him in the way that he wanted.  He who would torture people for eternity for a miniscule lifetime of living in a way that is unpleasing to him.  If any being, real or imaginary, could ever deserve hell, it is yahweh.

True facts.

Given that Bible God is a being of pure evil, a monster whose vileness and cruelty is laid bare in His book, how dare the church try and sell this sadist lunatic as a loving being who cares for us. Their lies sicken me.

"The church dares not tell the truth about the Bible as they would lose followers"

I so want to create a parody of this. Every time Hell is mentioned, Hell, Michigan is the location that the speaker would be referring to. It would be hilarious.

This morning after I first saw this video, I wasted time that should have been spent working on an essay to brainstorm possible content for a parody of this and typed up what I came up with. It's incomplete because, as I said, I had an essay to do. Anyway, I've decided to share it here, just to see what everyone else thinks of it.

The Letter From Hell: A Parody

The Letter From Hell is a dramatic presentation that is designed to motivate Christian students to share their faith in Kryasst… Hell is a scary place and this is a scary presentation… Just look at this creepy font…”

-Croaked in the Spook Ministries

What if?

What if you had a friend who didn’t know Jesus as their personal slaver and they went to Hell?

What if one day you received a letter in your mailbox from this person, after they went there?

A letter from Hell…

A letter from your friend with a stamp on the envelope that says “Been through Hell”.

The following is a dramatic presentation. It was written by a fictitious dude with a bizarre sense of humor, to a Christian friend named Jack. Although Jack had every opportunity to tell his friend with the bizarre sense of humor about Jesus…

He didn’t because he knew that Jesus was an asshole…

And because he was a lazy bum…

They were best friends…

They played football, beer-pong, and Monopoly together…

They went to classes, frat parties, and strip clubs together…

They shared their lives with each other…

But there was one thing Jack held back from his friend with the bizarre sense of humor…

His personal relationship with Jesus Kryasst…

The rest of the story is simple and sad…

A few too many beers…

A tragic drive home…

A crash…

A DUI…

A trial…

Some attorney named Burney…

Then a letter…

Here is that letter… It reads like a letter from the Amnesia games, so it’s really spooky…

Dear Jack,

I ended up in Hell today…

It’s a lot different than I expected…

You see, I never thought that I’d survive a car crash while driving drunk or that I’d survive getting strangled by the driver of the other vehicle that I crashed into. I thought I’d die and go to a place that is foggy and hazy.

This place is crystal clear. It’s even more real than I’d ever imagined.

I can think.

I can talk.

I can feel.

And I can breathe now because some Sheriff saved my sorry ass.

Right after the wreck, I was pulled from the twisted, burning wreckage of my car and I was put up against a tree by some pissed off dude. I could feel his hands around my neck as he said, “Yer gonna pay, mothafucka! Yer gonna pay!”

It was the weirdest thing, Jack. I thought I heard you screaming out to me man. Must’ve been that stuff I was smoking while I was driving around like a maniac.

At first, I was just standing there, with my back against the tree. Getting murdered I guess.

Then the Sheriff showed up and saved me, but then proceeded to check my license plate.

I guess he couldn’t find it though, because then he grabbed me by the arm and started dragging me to his car! I was terrified!

I had no idea what was going on. I asked the Sheriff where he was taking me, but he didn’t answer, so I asked him again.

Finally, he told me, “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.” Once I was in the squad car, he added, “Welcome to Hell, Michigan.”

How pathetic! It's a double dose. One dose of fear and one dose of guilt. The fear is of a person being cast into the eternal flames of the Lake of Fire for the "terrible" crime of not believing in Jesus even if the victim had never heard of Jesus. The guilt is to blame a Christian who did not share their faith as the cause for people going to hell. How pathetic and cruel.

I have got to think that Christians have a selective vision - centered around themselves alone. Otherwise, how could they stand even the idea of hell?  It really boggles my mind.

OK, I have watched the video and it looks like a bad pulp magazine story a' la' Lovecraft's worst (sorry H.P.Lovecraft) seriously, how is it this guy has a pen and paper to write this? How does it get outside hell? No explanation.

This is stupid.
