Mr Havery as some of you know is an American comedian/ TV show host and self confessed Christian

He has publicly said that woman should not date atheists as they have no moral barometer .......Mr Harvey is on his third marriage.......

He has thanked god, proclaimed himself as a living witness and a soldier fighting in the army of the lord........Mr Harvey also has a personal body guard.........showing some what his lack of conviction that the lord will protect him.

He has also called himself imperfect..........sadly this means he will not Ned Flanders his way into Heaven, because God demands perfection if you want to live in his magical mansion in the sky

I just heard for the first time the other day that Steve Harvey is a Christian, and I actually thought the person who said it had gotten it wrong. He hosts Family Feud, which my son (age four) likes to watch, because his dad had Family Feud as a game on the smartphone, so he's familiar with it. I have had to turn Family Feud off because they get into talking about stuff that I don't want my four-year-old (and even my eleven-year-old at the time) to hear. Jokes of a sexual nature and things like that. It really isn't always a "family friendly" show! I think there are many, many fundies who would NEVER let that show play in their home!

Kind of funny.

Steve Harvey is probably about as Christian as Oprah and Tyler Perry: in name only, to sell himself.

Steve has a talk show that airs on analog in the afternoons where I live. He also hosts Family Feud. Neither of his shows are family-friendly, despite airing during daytime hours and primetime on GN.

Personally, I've got nothing against Steve Harvey. I am merely tired of celebrities waving the title of "Christian" or terms like "Hallelujah" or "Jesus" around merely to catch a few dollars to add to their net worth from the easily duped. I would like to believe that most people are smart enough to see through the bs in regards to the likes of Steve Harvey, but that probably isn't the case. Celebrities are like demigods in modern culture and it seems that most people are still shocked to find out that a great many of them are disgustingly amoral and will do anything for a buck.

I used to listen to and enjoy his morning radio show, particularly the prank calls, which were often hilarious.  I haven't listened in for some time now because I'm already at work when it's on.  He's a very good comedian, his stand up act is quite funny.  As to his being a christian and waving the christian flag, *meh*.

The Christian angle plays well for his "shocked" reaction to racy answers. Lots of the questions beg an off-color response sure to bring a reaction from Steve.

I don't know, but to me it seems like ever since his "Steve Harvey Show" days in the 90s, he's certainly gotten a lot more Christiany- or stepped up the Christian/ family values (whatever that means) sales pitch to sell his books and stuff. He's also a misogynist and I can't stand to hear him talk, but my grandparents blast Family Feud on TV all day long so I don't have a choice.
