♦ ficino ♦ Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 When I discovered my partner of decades having an affair, and he didn't want to break it off decisively or "come back" to me, I was very adrift and alone. I thought maybe some church that wasn't too doctrinal would be a place to find a new circle of people. I went to two Unitarian churches, but they just seemed too churchy! And the stuff they were talking about wasn't improved by layering God over it. I went to some atheist meet-ups, too, which were OK.
