Oh my, now I've got a lot of listening to do.

Not a lot comes to mind right now, but I can say that after a long and deeply depressing process of deconversion, things finally started looking up at the start of this year when I realized I wouldn't go back if I could. Now my feelings might best be described by what I'm listening to now, Debussy's Clair de Lune (

)

(Also, it amazes and shames me to think that once I sang this with passion and sincerity, wishing for the end of the world and the punishment of the wicked [otherwise known as regular people]:

Fix Me - 10 Years. This was a bit of a personal battlecry for me during my deconversion

This one's not about deconversion, but it conveys all the emotions I've experienced in mine. "Sweet Nothing" by Florence Welch and Calvin Harri
"It isn't easy for me to let it go

'Cause I've swallowed every single word
And every whisper, every sigh
Eats away this heart of mine
And there is a hollow in me now

So I put my faith in something unknown
I'm living on such sweet nothing
But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold
I'm living on such sweet nothing
And it's hard to learn
And it's hard to love
When you're giving me such sweet nothing
Sweet nothing
Sweet nothing
You're giving me such sweet nothing

And it's not enough
To tell me that you care
When we both know
Your words are empty air
You give me nothing!"
