mymistake
http://www.patheos.com/blogs/godlessindixie/2015/03/27/the-nones-vs-the-dones/ The dones are those who have been there and done that, and probably have a t-shirt (or thirty). I’ve got drawers full of them in fact, as does anybody else who has spent any amount of time in church youth culture. People like me aren’t just unaffiliated, we are anti-affiliated. We were once in the thick of it, but then we left and have no interest in going back. Unlike many of our counterparts among the nones, we know much more intimately what it is that we’re staying away from because we spent years inside that world and we’ve had enough to last us a lifetime, thankyouverymuch.Read more: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/godlessindixie/2015/03/27/the-nones-vs-the-dones/#ixzz3Vdq4qSGz Another great blog post from Godless In Dixie. Are you a None or a Done? Personally, I'm a Done.

Geezer
You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. Yep, and when I found the truth it did indeed set me free! Praise God? No, praise the historians for finding the truth that set us free!!

00LukeMan
Done and glad of it. Sometimes I think that Nones are missing out. While I don't want anyone to be misled, I feel like the process of analyzing beliefs and critically accepting and rejecting them is something not to be missed. I recently saw a video of a French former atheist who has converted to Christianity, but he did so for the same illogical reasons that others convert, without any real analysis of evidence. Just because you were raised without a god doesn't mean you automatically think critically.
TheBluegrassSkeptic
You know, I read about this line of thinking last year on the Holy Soup website. Here's the article http://holysoup.com/2014/11/12/the-rise-of-the-dones/. Granted, it is from the Christian perspective, but it's very telling how even many Christians are simply done with it all. Happy to be a done in the sense they want no part of major doctrine any longer. No more labels. They're just done. The rise of the "dones" has been a much talked about issue the last 6 months, especially around last Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think it's such a wonderful change in society too...so long as they don't take their personally created realm of belief and start imposing on others.
