♦ ficino ♦
Some horrible stories of children who died because their parents sought faith healing instead of medical attention. One distraught mother now says, "We do not believe that society should have allowed us to do what we did to our child." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/05/science/review-paul-offit-bad-faith-explores-casualties-of-doctrine.html?ref=todayspaper

Fweethawt
"We do not believe that society should have allowed us to do what we did to our child." Typical christian mindset here... Don't take responsibility for your own actions -- just blame someone else for the outcome of your own stupidity. Heck, that's pure Christianity in a nutshell right there! I have no sympathy for these people that do this to their children. They deserve every ounce of regret and pain that comes with this "practice".
FreeThinkerNZ
To me, refusing to vaccinate* a child is potentially as bad as not taking them to a doctor when they are obviously very ill. Both should be against the law IMO. *Except in those rare cases where they have a medical condition that genuinely makes vaccination too risky for them.
