What Makes Heaven Heavenly For The Christian?

If a human sees beauty, it is because he or she has chosen to see beauty.  As they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."  The Christian Apologist Mr. William Lane Craig says:  "Moral rightness or wrongness consists in agreement or disagreement with the will or commands of a holy, loving God."  Which may be true, but that would be a conclusion that would come out of his own heart and would be a conclusion that he bears personal responsibility for.  "Agreement" is an active mode and not a passive mode.  Christians imagine that they will experience joy in heaven, and they may, but if they do, this will owe to their own experience of joy in joining Yahweh in his opinion.  For Christians and atheists alike, the autonomous moral consciousness of man is the  ultimate reference point in all ethical questions.

If a Christian is experiencing peace in heaven, they do so for the same reasons that an atheist experiences joy on earth:  "The only force of appeal to us, which either a living God or an abstract ideal order can wield, is found in the everlasting ruby vaults of our own human hearts, as they happen to beat responsive and not irresponsive to the claim.  So far as they do feel it when made by a living consciousness, it is life answering to life."  William James.  Likewise, a nonbeliever continues to have the choice to experience joy in hell -- for the same humanistic reasons that every human experiences joy.  What do you think?  Do you want to create some meaning with me?
