Scottsman
For those of you who have encountered the argument "where are the transitional fossils?" I present you with this incredible one hour documentary. It describes the story of a fish paleantologist who determined when the transition from fish to amphibian would have roughly lived. He then looked at a rock map to determine where the rocks of those age could be found. If it existed it would be found there. A classic hypothesis. He went to work in Northern Canada and discovered Tiktaalik. A fish with a flat nose, and the first feet. Exactly where it was predicted. He wrote a book and produced this documentary. Your inner fish. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x21evv8_your-inner-fish_news There is a second transitional creature from reptile to mammal. It is shown in part 2. Your inner reptile. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1qngaf_your-inner-fish-episode-2-your-inner-reptile_shortfilms And a 3rd transition, in your inner monkey. I havent watched this one yet but the first two were incredible. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1zxcbv_your-inner-fish-episode-3-your-inner-monkey_shortfilms

Guest sylensikeelyoo
oooohhhh so AWESOME! I used to dabble in Christian Apologetics after I listened to Josh McDowell during my first year of Bible College. I read up on those fossiles in Canada, and that inspired me to stop the apologetics. My stance on Creationism was that it is only a faith based hypothesis with no scientific evidence whatsoever. I held this for many years, and then I stopped lying to myself. The rest is history. AndrewTomlinson
I saw this as well a while back. It was very informative regarding the ability of the theory to predict how evolution progressed and where to look for the evidence. I have also heard the "no transitional fossils" lie. It amazes me how they seem to think that no new evidence is ever discovered, since they keep recycling century-old arguments. Fortunately, science has no scripture but reality itself.
