Astreja Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 I've done My share of the "dark" stuff, but I never thought of it as Satanic (or indeed theurgic at all -- I've always gone on the assumption that I was working with mental focus, natural forces and the physical universe, rather than having gods or demons do the heavy lifting.) Technically I'm a white robe, but I would have no qualms about sitting right smack-dab in the middle of the good/evil continuum if the occasion demanded. As is the related terminology of "dark" and "light" or "black" and "white" imagery. A few thoughts to play with - assuming that we have a general acceptance that we are talking in terms of so called "occult" practice that at least understood within the world view of those participating in this thread. Good and bad are not absolutes. A satanist can be a model of morality - assuming you define the morality appropriately. No-one can tell me where the "middle" is, so how can anyone know if they're veering to the "right" or the "left"? All that the idea of "right" and "left" represents is the freedom to choose one's course of action and to move accordingly. Constant light is exhausting - the dark is for rest and healing. It's not evil - it's necessary. So with any concept involving a duality. The two parts are interdependent. Any particular reason behind the original query? Any particular reason behind the original query?I gather from looking at multiple threads started by the OP, that he/she is having problems discerning reality and believes his/her mental health problems are due to demonic possession. This thread is an extension of this, wishing to know how he/she can get rid of the demons and get his/her soul back from the Devil, a soul that was forfeited by committing the unpardonable sin.
