If you've missed my cyber hugs, my cheerful demeanor and my sarcastic attitude, fear not, for I have returned! Most of ya know I was in Northern Indiana for my Mammaw's funeral and I was having a hard time dealing with my loss. It was my first encounter with grief as an atheist and I appreciate those of you whom reached out to me and talked with me the night I lost her. It was very tough knowing that I will never see her again. When I was a Christian, dealing with death was a lot easier because I had that false hope that my loved ones were in a better place and I would see them again one day. Reality is a tough thing to swallow, but ultimately, its better this way. The pain is raw and hurts like a motherfucker, but that's the price you pay for knowing the truth. Truth is incredibly important to me and I'd rather deal with it than lean on the crutch of a first century cult religion and be deluded my whole life.
