I find this to be very "moving"... I don't even know what to say! I understand that I'm looking at an artist's interpretation of what is being observed. But the image coupled with the simplistic explanation of the natural process is just plain awe inspiring.

Back in early 95' we hadn't a clue that other planets orbiting other stars even existed. 

 

Now, just twenty short years on, we know about the complete lifecycle of entire solar systems.

 

From their birth (this thread) to their death...
