SerenelyBlue
I read "A briefer history of time", by Stephen Hawking. I just about followed the gist of it. There used to be a time when I was ignorant enough to think that there was nothing new to be learnt about cosmology and astronomy. I now realise that there is so much that we don't know yet and even though there are limits to our interaction with the universe, more ingenious ways can be found to make sense of it all. I can't wait for the next Newton or Einstein to open our eyes and perhaps even stumble onto a theory of everything. I am not great at Maths or Science, but regardless have a great interest in popular science.
sdelsolray
I had a passion for astronomy as a child. I carried through to college where I almost chose a minor in astronomy, but opted for a minor in anthropology instead. I have two telescopes and enjoy getting to dark sky sites for pure visual astronomy bliss. Yes, science hobbies are great.
