I heard a group of rabbis have formed a modern day Sanhedrin of 71, and they try to make legal decisions. I guess they put Obama and the pope on trial! Is this a sign of the endtimes that the Sanhedrin has been reintituted, or is this just a bunch of right wing rabbis that most people don't pay attention to? Do they have any power? If this is confirmation of the end times, then its a case of a broken clock right twice a day. Im surpised given the history of judiasm that this hasnt been to my knowledge attempted since the refounding of israel in the mid 20th century. Think about it another way, this comes from the same mindset that believes it was moral to take a land that hasnt been theres to any signifcant degree since the first century from the people living there.
