Heartwarming, cute, funny, magical, touching, and odd. It follows a young dreamer and her blend of imagination and reality as she encounters people in her daily life. Will she ever find love? Other films you may like: Le Roi de Coeur (also listed as King of Hearts), Delicatessen, The Hairdresser's Husband, Johnny Stecchino (Johnny Toothpick), Leningrad Cowboys Go America, Strictly Ballroom, The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe. One of my Russian friends watched it a few years ago and told me "after this, I understand that American films are shit!" Keep in mind that the American films they get over here are Hollywood blockbusters, like Batman. Johnny Stecchino is hilarious. You will also like Benigni's other films if you liked this one.
