quinntar
Have you Christians ever thought of leaving Christianity? Why not leave your faith and discover what we've discovered. As you say Jesus will always be there with open arms, so at the very least you'll return to him with a unique point of view.
searchinwithnoagenda
"Have you Christians ever thought of leaving Christianity?" Due to the Pastor having a standard fear mongering sermon on a regular recurring schedule, I doubt many xtians would consider taking a walk on the light side. Super Moderator TheRedneckProfessor Posted July 29, 2016 Super Moderator Share Posted July 29, 2016 Again, I think you're reaching. They are about as capable of test driving atheism as we would be of test driving religion. The only difference, really, is that we "know" better; whereas they only "think" they do. The end result, however, is the same. Very few can cross the line; and fewer can "choose" to do so willingly.
Jeff
You can test drive allowing yourself to ask hard questions and contemplate the logical answers. That kinda how I got started I guess
disillusioned
Yeah, you can't really choose what you believe. You either believe it or you don't. Sure, you can ask yourself "what if I'm wrong?", but that's about as far as it goes. It's a hypothetical game. You can't actually "try out" unbelief if you really believe. It's just not possible.
