Fweethawt
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/f-35-just-proved-russian-192811263.html An F-35B just carried out a remarkable test where its sensors spotted an airborne target, sent the data to an Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense site, and had the land-based outpost fire a missile to defeat the target — thereby destroying an airborne adversary without firing a single shot of its own. duderonomy
A plane that can spot enemy positions and movements and report back to H.Q.? They could have used things like that in WWI.
Super Moderator florduh Posted October 12, 2016 Super Moderator Share Posted October 12, 2016 Great news! We need more efficient ways to kill even more people. It seems the military industrial complex won't be satisfied until every living thing on the planet is dead. They're good at what they do. Look out, Russia, Hillary's planning to flex her military muscle as soon as possible.
Vigile
We could have paid for every single American to go to college for the next 20 years. Instead, we chose to spend it on a jet that may or may not outcompete Chinese and Russian technology, completely denying the fact that there will never, ever, ever be a conventional war with two countries with whom we engage would mean mutual assured destruction via a nuclear war. Maybe if we had chosen to educate our society, we would stop at least some of this nonsense. http://usuncut.com/politics/how-the-f-35-could-provide-23-years-of-free-college-for-everyone/

The world doesn't need us and in fact, more than half the problems out there are caused by us. If we would just pull back in, most would just leave us alone. There are no credible threats to the US in any meaningful way. There's a reason the US occupies 157 countries around the globe and it's not because we just want to be nice guys. A bit of colonial history can be a good hint what we're up to.
