Don't forget ya have 1500 words you can use in your opening statement. This should be interesting Evidence- ONLY use evidence that is accurate and thoroughly referenced in your presentation. Evidence will be accurately and directly quoted. (ALL EVIDENCE MUST BE FROM A PUBLISHED SOURCE, AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC, AND VERIFIABLE.) The first time a source is presented, the debater must state the full source when introducing the evidence. A “full source” is assumed to include author’s name, author’s qualifications (when apparent in the original), full date, and title of source with page numbers. I hope he doesn't expect his vague one liners to convince anyone of bible gods truthfulness. After reading the rules florduh posted I think giving him 3 days to make his opening statement is fair. But if he continues using the same tactics he has in the past I am going to consider him a troll and would like to see him banned. I think this debate should be the deciding point for jon's continued membership. I don't know the rules concerning what constitutes a ban. But so far it seems like he only tries to stir the pot and incite us to argue with no viable responses. I, for one am getting tired of it. I hope this is the turning point one way or the other.
