Up in the air on this one.
  1. A real gem from a woman I used to work with. She's nuts. "THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AND MOST VISIBLE VIDEO OF THE MANIFESTATION OF DEMONS SEEN IN BEYONCE AT THE SUPERBOWL....I am no longer a fan of secular music but I am an End Time watchman on the wall. This video proves hybrids are among us and we are indeed living in the days as it was in the days of Noah....The message behind the video is also profound...pay close attention! God bless" Seriously? I probably make 50 demonic faces when I'm putting on makeup or eating dinner. What a loon.
  2. I will be working this Christmas Eve and won't attend services, and I'm actually sad about it. For me, even as a believer, Christmas was more about the vibe that the day has. There has always been a special "feel" to the day that is not dependent on a belief in the Christian Christmas story. If you go, just to not ruffle feathers, maybe you could just use the time to reflect on what the holiday means to you now. Even though I don't believe in all of it anymore, the day is still important to me.
  3. I just Googled her and found that the oldest daughter Ashley was killed in a car accident at the age of 25. Apparently, the little girl in the clip was Ashley's daughter and she is now being raised by that nutcase. Poor little girl. She is going to be seriously F'ed up.
  4. A woman I work with is CONSTANTLY talking about the End Times and prophecies. She loves Sid Roth's website and is on YouTube for HOURS looking for videos to post, all regarding visions, the destruction of America, Obama as the Antichrist, End Time warnings, Book of Revelation prophecy fulfillment, you name it. Just saw this little link on her page: http://www.sott.net/articles/show/250182-8-foot-tall-biped-winged-creature-seen-in-Butler-County-Pennsylvania This is a response she got to this story: On a serious note, the creature that has been spotted fits the exact description of the loc
  5. I hope not - he's 70 and that's the last thing I want to hear or think about!!
  6. Thanks for the replies. As you can probably tell, science has never been my strong suit!
  7. Never mind. I just realized how truly stupid that last post was. I think I'm getting it. Slowly.
  8. Sorry if I sound like an idiot here, but I'm really trying to understand. Our teacher was saying that males and females had to be created together in order to reproduce, but really they just had to evolve together, right? This stuff is all so new to me and I want to make sure I fully understand. Thanks for the patience!
  9. And I admittedly don't know enough about evolution to argue it. Little aside - still going to church, haven't told anyone I don't believe anymore. Anyway - this morning in Sunday School, our teacher said that one of the greatest arguments for God creating man and us not evolving is the fact that we can reproduce. Because so much is involved when reproduction occurs, it would be impossible for males and females to have evolved at exactly the same speed to make reproduction possible. He thinks that both had to have been created at the exact same moment for our bodies to be compatible and abl
  10. Once they do it, they have to call the radio station and brag about what a good person they are. To me, if you're doing it for the recognition, you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. Whatever happened to being kind for the sake of bein kind?
  11. Got this email from my church today (still attending, just not buying it anymore). Something to think about... One day, a man went to visit a church. He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near the driver got out and said, "I always park there! You took my place!" The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, "That's my seat! You took my place!" The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome,
  12. I was talking to my sister on the phone this morning and she mentioned that the lady in front of her in a drive-thru line paid for her breakfast. The explanation that the lady working the drive-thru gave is that it's something a church is encouraging. My sister replied that she knew a lot of Christians were doing it - they keep encouraging it on a local Christian radio station. My rant - why does someone have to be Christian to pay for someone else's meal? I've done it several times, just as a good deed. I don't need any recognition or reason to do it, other than to just do something nice
  13. A neighbor's cat has adopted us, but she's not technically ours.
  14. Thanks for the replies and support! The depression and especially the anxiety attacks were horrible. I would never commit suicide, but I got to a place where I understood why people do. It was the worst period of my life. I am currently weaning off the anti-depressants and I feel so much better. I'm lucky to have a wonderful husband and family who are here for me no matter what. I'm hoping that people will be able to see, through me, that you can be a good, honest, moral person despite the non-belief. It seems like a lot of people think those things are mutually exclusive. Anyway, than
