God, The Bible, I'm Good.

Well...no, it's more than that. The Bible instructs you to place yourself under a structured church authority. An example is 1 Timothy 5:7, "Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching." There are elders who should be ruling over you, and you should be paying them to do so (that's what double honor means, as you can see from reading the next verses). It's pretty clear that "the church" is more than just a bunch of people who believe in Jesus getting together for Monday night football and Bible study. So assumin -

I do not take every word of the bible as literally true. I Don't concern myself with the bible until was about 34 years How do you determine which parts are literally true and which are not? I cannot discuss that in the open forum. If you sincerely want to know pm me -

I am lonely.... I am looking for someone like me...Some one who is sure enough in their beliefs to discuss the bible. Well, I'm sure beyond a reasonable doubt. As I told Geezer, I'm moving on -

I am lonely.... I am looking for someone like me...Some one who is sure enough in their beliefs to discuss the bible. Once again, I am confused. There are lots of people here who are extremely knowledgeable about the bible, and quite solid in their beliefs. If you are looking for someone who has the same beliefs as you do, well, I don't think you're going to find that here. What discussion are you looking to have about the bible? The kind I can't get here. -

For someone to know that they are like you they would have to know that they are a troll. Sorry friend, but the only one of those around here is looking out of the mirror at you! ok . . . -

The bible instructs me to fellowship with other believers. I do that without committing to any one congregation or denomination.Anyone can walk into most any church and make friends as long as they don't express a different point of view. I don't talk religion in church -

If the forum doesn't have a section reserved for non believers or those with questions It will take you longer to register than you will last Cliff You have been trying to cry persecution because we do not get all excited to hear of another christian who isn't into religion and rules and worships god the proper way, but what does this above quote tell you about the difference between this site and the people here and your religious followers, Cliff? If you would be thrown out of a christian site for proclaiming the beliefs you have espoused here, and yet you are still here speakin
