  1. i was answering a question by @midniterider .
  2. he might find this helpful, i just came across this: "... a definition of the perfection which God requires becomes apparent. God requires that the person reach a point where it would be impossible for him ever to sin again. Even Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before sin entered were not perfect according to this standard, for even though they had never sinned until Satan beguiled the woman, they were capable of sinning. God wants His people to attain such quality of character that they are incapable of breaking His law. He wants His people to reach the point where their chara
  3. no. and yes. “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” Notice the meaning of perfect in this text: “Unto a perfect man, unto . . . the stature . . . of Christ.” from: https://pacinst.com/efh/chapter15/returned.html Philippians 3:12-14
  4. 25Listen carefully, I have told you in advance. 26So if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there, or, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms [of a house],’ do not believe it. 27For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming [in glory] of the Son of Man [everyone will see Him clearly]. 28Wherever the corpse is, there the [e]vultures will flock together.
  5. ways of thinking for Christians or anybody towards others/outsiders that are not necessarily very wise. to become as a child (open-minded) -- to learn what is truth... seems wise, or the close-mindedness on anything that a person is close-minded about can possibly blind us on that one thing. a blind spot in the brain.

  7. not hallmarks per se. but what you are choosing to focus on and in a negative way (possibly without much grace?), and without access to all the factors of why -- both from within and without (possibly without much wisdom?), while interpreting the Bible as you choose to (not how most actual Christians might or at all how Edgarcito might either), and saying it has to be what should control E. at all times (even though Christians are not robots) and even though that's not even what actual Christians even believe. and even though there are many many verses and many many interpretations of the Bi
  8. the evidence is with those who seek, i would say. and it depends maybe on how we seek also. and if on any part of the journey we become sidetracked and/or deluded too much into thinking we have found all the truth, but it's not exactly the whole of truth, if its just a piece of the greater puzzle -- one side of the argument or picture when in fact there might be 2 or more... then there we might stay, for who knows how long until we are able to or decide to or learn how to move on from that piece or pieces of the puzzle, from those points of view and ways of being -- because both are going on
  9. why follow the East? or the West? perhaps it is wise to follow the truth that you sense at present -- if that seems good, while keeping a somewhat open mind towards learning more at any time or place.
