  1. “ No idea is so strong it should not be tested by doubt, and no man so powerful that he is infallible. ”
  2. @fluffyapple too much fear is unhealthy. really not good for you probably. look up the book, "The Secret" also I'd suggest. as anything, you might want to take it with grains of salt.
  3. these might help also, as well as what others have said: 112 REASONS TO BELIEVE IN GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY AND THE SALVATION OF ALL AND THAT HIS LOVE NEVER FAILS, IT NEVER QUITS 100 Scriptural Proofs That Jesus Christ Will Save All Mankind by Thomas Whittemore Many early American Christians discovered Jesus as the Savior of the whole world. I have come across hundreds of old books written in the late 1700s and early 1800s that declare in Scriptural form the Everlasting Gospel that Jesus will redeem every single soul created. One of these books had a chapter, reprinted below, that commented on 100 Scriptures that declare the salvation of all mankind.
  4. i was answering a question by @midniterider .
  5. he might find this helpful, i just came across this: "... a definition of the perfection which God requires becomes apparent. God requires that the person reach a point where it would be impossible for him ever to sin again. Even Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before sin entered were not perfect according to this standard, for even though they had never sinned until Satan beguiled the woman, they were capable of sinning. God wants His people to attain such quality of character that they are incapable of breaking His law. He wants His people to reach the point where their characters will not permit them to sin." from: https://pacinst.com/efh/chapter15/returned.html
  6. no. and yes. “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” Notice the meaning of perfect in this text: “Unto a perfect man, unto . . . the stature . . . of Christ.” from: https://pacinst.com/efh/chapter15/returned.html Philippians 3:12-14 King James Version 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
  7. 25Listen carefully, I have told you in advance. 26So if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there, or, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms [of a house],’ do not believe it. 27For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming [in glory] of the Son of Man [everyone will see Him clearly]. 28Wherever the corpse is, there the [e]vultures will flock together.
  8. ways of thinking for Christians or anybody towards others/outsiders that are not necessarily very wise. to become as a child (open-minded) -- to learn what is truth... seems wise, or the close-mindedness on anything that a person is close-minded about can possibly blind us on that one thing. a blind spot in the brain.
  9. that would appear to be true.
  10. Jesus Is the Question: The 307 Questions Jesus Asked and the 3 He Answered
  11. not hallmarks per se. but what you are choosing to focus on and in a negative way (possibly without much grace?), and without access to all the factors of why -- both from within and without (possibly without much wisdom?), while interpreting the Bible as you choose to (not how most actual Christians might or at all how Edgarcito might either), and saying it has to be what should control E. at all times (even though Christians are not robots) and even though that's not even what actual Christians even believe. and even though there are many many verses and many many interpretations of the Bible that speak otherwise of your own interpretations of what it all means -- to boot. while at the same time not even mentioning (on another thread) how the opposing party is likewise similar in language at times... whether or not his (J's) beliefs/spirituality says it's ok or not, it is still happening... and does not seem to be even mentioned, but instead so so many many things are rather obviously assumed and projected onto Christians and onto Edgarcito over and over again.... unless you are a mind/heart reader? is this wisdom? is this grace?
