  1. Several years ago another member or myself started a thread in the 'Totally Off Topic" section (that I no longer have access to for whatever justified reason), about the devolution of art in modern times. I don't remember how heated the thread was, or if it was at all, about whether or not modern art should be considered to be art in the first place. After all these years, I still find myself on the same side of that argument, and that is, that modern art is garbage. This recent video is the perfect example of why and how far modern art has come since we discussed that topic so long ago. Enjoy!
  2. In all my years of listening, countless hours of reading and even more hours of discussing the history of religion, I don’t recall ever hearing this one. The term 'atheist' was originally used as a term to describe Christians during the transformation of civilizations from polytheism to monotheism. Instead of 'atheist', they would be referred to as, 'a Theist'. Anybody ever hear of this?

  4. Please go see Alita Battle Angel instead. I swear to god you will like it more than Captain Marvel. And it's a shame that Alita is not getting the viewership that it deserves. I'm so sure that anyone that goes to see Alita will like it, that if I could, I would refund their money if they didn't. Everything the guy in this video says is true.
  5. Okay so, I kinda agree with you there. ^^^
  6. Fuck this piece of shit. She and her kid can rot in whatever camp they're in...
  7. Muslim Community Patrol... ... in New York.
  8. This is probably one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen. Enjoy! https://vimeo.com/315487551?ref=em-v-share
  9. I can only stand to listen to about 2 and 1/2 minutes of this.
  10. Believe it or not -- Tom Hardy's performance. I know he's not the one that wrote the script so, he's not really to blame. But, his part and lines were so bad that I actually felt embarrassed for him. I really like Tom Hardy so, to see him do a role like that was heavily disappointing. I've never really followed the Venom character in the comic books. But as far as I know, he didn't end up being a somewhat likeable character personality-wise. Am I wrong? Does venom actually take orders or instructions from its host? I don't know. But seeing it happen in the movie was just stupid in my opinion. In the story wasn't that great either.
  11. So you skipped over the best one. That would be Wonder Woman. I like all the superhero movies. Marvel and DC alike. However, I have to admit I like the Marvel movies better. The worst of the newer Marvel movies would be Venom. Now that movie was complete trash. I will watch any of the DC movies again and again before I will ever watch Venom a second time. The reviews that I read for Aquaman said that it was just as good as Wonder Woman or the Christian Bale Batman movies. So when I went into the theaters, having this in mind, I was disappointed to find that the movie did not get to be as good as those. However, Aquaman is my second favorite DC movie under Wonder Woman.
  12. Yes, Ciri... 'nuff said. And yes, I got all of the expansion packs. Absolutely awesome additions.
  13. Had my first watch-through last night. I was amazed that something like this could be done. I saw the fight scene, too! Ha-ha! I'm looking forward to watching my wife go through it. I spread my experience of this movie like wildfire at work and turned a lot of people on to it. I think that somehow the Netflix system knows whether or not it is being viewed on equipment modern enough to utilize the interactive function though. I say this because when I mentioned this to a couple of people who had already watched it , they had no idea what I was talking about when I was explaining the interactive feature. Apparently, the movie just plays out like a regular movie on older televisions. I watched it on my phone so, I had no trouble at all doing it. Once I got home, I pulled the movie up on my television set and, since my television is only a year old, I was easily able to use the remote to take part in the interactive function. It's pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to watching it again and trying new choices to see how the movie plays out. I heard that there are several different endings depending on the choices you make. And I'm definitely looking forward to more programs being made this way. I think it's a genius idea. It gives shows a high replayability rating. For sure.
