  • More About Me
Long-time agnostic, always humanistic, recently atheistic. I love meeting and talking to new people that I meet. After raising 3 kids I'm back in school and studying journalism and public relations.

I'm still figuring out how to live sanely in a household that still has two christians within. I'm (trying to be) a patient person and I know (hope) that one day they will follow the same path.

  1. Yep, still feeling sepulchral. Some things never change.

  2. Wow, kolaida, that was quite a story. Welcome to ex-C. I'm glad you've made it here and I'm really glad you found a friend to help you through. We were all mentally ill to some extent when we were in religion. Good luck in your continued journey.

Tears are the solvents of our neurotic defenses against life. Weep for the love you wanted and did not receive, feel the sadness of all that might have been but was not.

  5. Only 8 more days until the Christians are raptured kids! This is going to be awesome!

Revelation 14:1-Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Wait, if there's no rupture, I mean rapture we've got to deal with the "financial cliff" Rupture, no Rapture or cliff what a choice. What'a we do! Too many 6's on the foreheads without names.

Yes, Kwan Yin is an important symbol to me. I have a statue of her sitting behind me where I am sitting.
