jauggy
My favourite Christian evolutionist would be Ken Miller. Ken Miller on Intelligent Design: It's a very long vid but I found it interesting even though I am not a scientist. While he doesn't answer your specific questions freeday, it shows how its possible to be Christian and be an evolutionist. In the video he critiques the creationists and the IDists. He also critiques the motivation behind the Answersingenesis.org website. I watched the vid until the question time at the end which I skipped. Also Ken Miller has a book called, "Finding Darwin's God" in which he critiques Behe's ID book - "Darwin's black blox." He also attempts to reconcile religion with science. I haven't read the book myself but have read some of the arguments presented in his book. Many of the things on http://www.answersingenesis.org/ have been rebutted on http://talkorigins.org Check that site out and search it - you may find more answers to your questions. Legion
jauggy, I read Ken Miller's book "Finding Darwin's God". Not bad really. Probably one of the better books to introduce the theory of evolution to Christians. The book also reminded me that Darwin was a Christian.
