Kuroikaze Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Ok=K, I live near Oklahoma and a message showed up on a local forum about a Oklahoma law that was passed a while back that forced libraries to put books with a "homosexual agenda" in a place out of the reach of minors. I posted some thoughts on their a few times, but every time I post on there I am virulently attacked by gay bashing jerks...As far as I can tell only 1 person besides me on the board regularly defends homosexuality...of course what do you expect The last person on there has attacked me for being intolerant, claiming that he/she is far more tolerant than me. I think he is wrong, but I thought I'd ask the opinions of people here. check out the post here http://www.topix.net/forum/city/fort-smith...SVBLPCU4N1S/p53 The latest person I debated was the person called "former sooner" What do you think? did I go too far with this person? Not far enough? Was a really being as illogical and irrational as this person is claiming? I don't think I was, but its always good to have a second opinion. Here's what I think, If it wasn't for heterosexuals, there wouldn't be any homosexuals. Since, they give birth to them. So, it's all heterosexuals fault there are gays in this world. His last post ended with the claim that since he had grandkids almost my age I was clearly to young to have anything useful to say... I called him on this statement being both an ad hominem and ad antiquitatem fallacy. The stupidity of his posts were the stuff of legends. Within arms reach. Guy never would, I'd bet, talks a big game, but has no balls to play. I'd say fuck him, but I have standards. Doing the same with Christianity (after all look at those dangerous cults) would get you lynched, why should groups of any other stripe treat them any differently.
