If it is, it is certainly a very different model than the Europeans use. I'd call it more a drift toward Corporate Oligarchyism. In Government vs. Corporations, who has far and away the most money. Who has all the force of the courts and the guns. Big Government is merely government control and social engineering, i.e. socialism of whatever brand: fascism, "moderate" socialism, communism, totalitarianism. It all amounts to Big Brotherism and ultimate control. The most you can say, at least in the Western World, is that the government lets corporations do wrong, and some certainly do. But, we all have our preferences . . . so each of us must believe that there are but the smallest of differences? Those were socialist, communist, and national socialists almost entirely. Democrats are the much more socialist of the two parties. They're both scarry, but we need to buy time if nothing else.
