They may not catch the whole sentence but they will automatically recognize the Latin. I think there is a Lathin knowledge pathogen that gets inserted at baptism... I don't think it's because I was raised Catholic, though... it's more of my interest in biology and the origin of words and their literal meanings. If I started speaking Latin around my parents, my dad would probably have flashbacks to his childhood. He went to a Catholic school, where Mass was done the "right" way - in Latin, with the priest's back to everyone, to ensure no one caught on to the fact that God makes no sense.
