StewartP Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 My deconversion took me from christian to agnostic to atheist pretty directly. Reading the testimonies on these boards I was disappointed to find that not everyone has followed the same path. It seems tha ex-christians are a mixture of folk just like any other populations sampling. I was thinking "c'mon, you're halfway there, you've let go of christianity, now take the next step and drop all that other crap too" Ah, if only life was so simple. If only people were so uncomplicated. Today I read this piece on debunkingchristianity.blogspot.com I find it even more intriguing how others will criticize the deconvert for doing it “incorrectly.” As if there is only one proper way in which one can deconvert.
