Thurisaz
I don't remember who posted it anymore, but paraphrasing him, this is it: "Morality is what governs your actions when there's neither the promise of reward nor the fear of punishment, and when no one's watching. Christians don't have morals. They merely take orders." Now I wouldn't say this is true also of the liberal/moderate christians... but the fundies... Comments? Any takers from a fundie? jauggy
Devil's advocate: It's clever but if "Morality" is by definition "whatever guides your actions when there's neither the promise of reward nor the fear of punishment, and when no one's watching. " - then everyone has morality since everyone has something which guides their actions. If I steal something when no one is watching, then my actions are being governed by greed. Since I have something guiding my actions - therefore I have morality (by that definition). I think the definition would need to be refined. Thurisaz
Well, I did paraphrase from memory - the original may well have been more refined
