junkpoet
i have been reading material comparing the life of jesus christ to krishna, buddah, and other mythological man/gods. i am sure many of you are familiar with the works of Kelsey Graves, Acharya S, and others. i enjoy reading this stuff and am amazed by the concept, but i wonder where to look for proof that these retellings of the myths are accurate and also i would like to be able to show more persuasivly when these parallel myths developed...the chonology is important when debating the issue. any ideas? Amethyst
You would have to look outside the mythical documentation for sources like historians, and historians not associated with the church/temple/etc. since religious historians would be biased. There is very little or no outside secular documentation about Christianity from people who were around at the time, as other people here have said before. I've no idea on Buddah.
