garrisonjj
Just some general observations after attending easter mass out of social constraint. The church is much less full as compared to years past. I saw many believers there merely out of social constraint, as myself. In general, people attend church here to avoid the pitfalls of hell, with dumb bore me to death looks on their faces. The catholic church never encouraged bible study because even they must view how ridiculous it is. They will think for their followers and many like it that way. In summation, in my tiny part of a once very religious world, I see many religious customs and embracing being discarded never to return to its once infallibility. I haven't attended church on Easter Sunday but once in the last two decades. That's one day, along with Xmas, I absolutely avoid religious services. Why would a non-believer attend? -CC
Former Follier
They have killer bingo, that's why!!! On a good night I can clean them out of $500! I don't care if the caller has a starched, white collar or a seedcorn hat on and a pipe in his mouth. Bingo is bingo!
Grandpa Harley
and $500 is $500... although I'd prefer something clean, like the earnings from procuring children or drug dealing, rather than church money
