Tyson
and the black church at that, is the sheer amount of comedy I used to see ESPECIALLY when it came to singing. We had this idea that as long as a person was "saved," this gave them license to freely sing if they had a "song on their heart." Well you're gonna really enjoy this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s18uUpWke28
Gary Thompson
What an inspiring performance. I wish I had that in church growing up. In my old religion (Eastern Orthodox) we had to sit through hours of some dick in a black robe babbling in Old Church Slavonic. The only thing I miss is that the priest would give you wine at the end of every sermon, regardless of age.
LosingMyReligion
The only thing that I miss about my old churches are the choirs...lol. It may not have been real but they could really sing. Just go to any southern black baptist church and you are guaranteed a great concert. LMAO, and I totally remember little old ladies, who could not carry a tune in bucket, getting up and leading the choir. It was really sweet but delusional all at once...
