Well the Phelps clan certainly have a shortage of musical talent.

And a profound lack of originality.

And they need to stop marrying their daughters and sisters, Or they are gonna end up like the Ptolomys.

And sombody realy needs to nuke westborough from orbit... just to make sure.

The worst part of that whole thing is the little girl singing at the end. From the start I was thinking how bad it would be to grow up in an environment like that. Look at all the teenagers and twenty-somethings that are singing. A few years ago they were probably singing like the little girl because it made mommy happy and didn't understand what they were saying. By the time they were old enough to understand the trash coming out of their mouths they were too indoctrinated to know any better. It's actually pretty sad.

 

What I did notice is there really didn't seem to be a lot of middle aged people. They were all pretty young or fairly old.

 

Sadly, I don't know that I'll ever be able to listen to We Are The World without thinking about this version. And I really liked that song - the original.
