A Flyer I Made

This pretty much speaks for itself.

Do You Believe..

That people who suffer from hereditary diseases should have faith in the god who made them that way?

That the god who told humans to “be fruitful and multiply” would sit by and not do a damn thing as said humans face problems from overpopulation as a result of their obedience?

That a god who can supposedly do anything is forced to send people to hell because they sinned?

That we should praise and love this god when we know damn well that he allows people to be tortured for all of eternity?

That we should all believe in God and understand that he works in mysterious ways, even though these “mysterious ways” all seem to imply that there is no God at all?

If you don’t, you may be interested in the Atheist Agenda.

Good start.

What is the "Atheist Agenda?"

Personally, I don't have an agenda, unless if you consider self defense and defense of science an agenda.

I agree. XTian theists want to believe that atheists have an agenda, and are chomping at the bit to demonstrate that atheism is in itself a belief, rather than simply the lack of belief that it is. tating that atheists have an agenda only serves to fuel their persecution complex, and corroborates their suspicions that atheists are out to get them.

Might want to use another word, other than 'agenda'.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that.

Atheist Agenda was the organization I made it for. You know the group that took bibles and traded them for porn? I joined that group when I started my classes at UTSA.

Yeah, I'd distance myself from that group if I were you. I mean the porn thing, the word Agenda...it's like GW using the word Crusade.

I wouldn't use the term agenda either. Agenda is a fighting word, and admitting you have one is dropping a bomb on yourself, rather than your opponents. Especially when it is used in combination with a minority group, atheist and gays above all others. Not too mention Atheist Agenda can be shortened AA. I would have used something more dignified and on more of a defensive side, such as coalition.

Also, I am not one for political correctness, but your flyer implies Christianity is the only religion (one of my pet peeves I'll admit), and the questions can be used equally for a Pagan, Mystic, Agnostic, or any other religion or path that rejects the Bible.

But, if I was an atheist, I would stay the fuck away from any atheist group that openly says it has an agenda. The religious right has no shame when it comes to putting words into the mouths of others, and with agenda in your name, it is throwing not only their fuel into the fire, the fuel they throw is going to knock yours into the fire. Hell, I wouldn't even join a group of Mystics if it had the word Agenda anywhere in the title.
