We Need To Compose A Challenge For Intelligent Design Proponent-ists

We need Intelligent design to line up five of their best arguments,

and science will line up five of it's best arguments.

Let the research begin, and the first ones to overturn 3 of the opponents arguments wins.

I have a feeling that ID won't accept this challenge though.

Maybe someone here, someone who before being an EX strongly believed and argued FOR ID? I am studing astronomy now, mostly at night, with books I have bought. (Studing graphics and 3D animation during the day). I would be happy to debate ID from an astronomy point of view.

One challenge, ask them to disprove evolution at the genetic level. This is what sank ID proponents in Ohio(?). Particularly, Ken Miller's argument in favor of evolution. There is a link to the Youtube.com site somewhere on this board.

Sagan said it, I believe it, no argument. It works for them...

I would actually like ID to make 5 predictions, since, AFAICT, there's no theory there.

Their ace in the hole argument (according to them) is "Irreducible Complexity" and even that fails miserably.

Kind of...*snickering like a little kid*...I saw the word "wager" and I immediately thought of that awesome mathematician who chucked that career to become a Christian theologian. That was a sad day in mathematical history.

The trouble with any challenge and creationists is that one of them comes up with something we know is wrong but they believe is right (like light has slowed down from near infinite speed), so they believe they have answered the challenge.

The talkorigins index to creationist (and ID) claims, talkdesign, and pandasthumb are good places to start. Works already been done.
