I have a headache. Ha Ha! Made ya look! Anyway...now that I've got your attention: I'm pissed off at my boyfriend, who is soon to be part of tomorrow evenings stew (anyone remember Fried Green Tomatoes? LOL. Seriously though. I appreciate everyone's input and help. He really is an uptight asshole, however, he has stuck by me through thick and thin. For that I give him credit. However, I'm still leaving him. He's just not "free" enough. Yesterday I wanted to go see a movie in the middle of the afternoon. I decided I'd knock off early since I'm doing web design work from home and I'm ahead of schedule. I picked him up at Barnes and Noble and we drove around looking for a car wash. When I realized that Car Wash places are a rip off and decided to just do it myself later, I mentioned catching a matinee since it was about 3ish. He's not working AT ALL since the dealership he was working for completely ripped him off and he and another guy are suing them. That's another story all together. So, my feeble attempt at a romantic afternoon completely failed. He said, "I can't go see a movie, I'd have to go home and change clothes." WTF? Why? Who cares what you're wearing? You're in a dark theatre. Who gives a fuck? Then he comes up with all these other excuses as to why we can't go see a movie. I was PISSED. If I said, "Hey, let's go to the strip club and get drunk he'd have been on the bandwagon in two seconds. But no. No movie. No nothing. So, fuck it. I don't need a man to go see a movie with me. I'll go by myself. Wha fucking wha. Somebody call a whambulance. Yes, I'm complaing and I'm bitching and I feel sorry for myself. Funny thing is...I just bought a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer on the Tao and was trying to overcome all this anger! Seems like I got quite a test today! Bet he wouldn't have felt any need to change clothes if you aked him to go grocery shopping with you, so being with YOU is not a reason for him to "dress up". On a semi-related note, if you are looking for good books on the Tao, I'd highly recommend "The Tao of Daily Life" by Derek Lin. I applaud you in your choice. I thiink sometimes a relationship is meant to be, but often only for a limited time. Whenever two people end up not being right for each other anymore, it's hard for them to see that right when it happens. So when they don't things begin to disinegrate (i.e. one or both of the people start being a dick). I think of it in terms of that person isn't necessarily bad, but bad is brought out of them because they don't know how to deal with a situation properly, so they end up doing things that are adverse to the other person.
