Guest Net Eng
Video Link 'cause if you ain't grunting out more Catholics ya ain't doing your job! I'm not sure why this galls me so much but such attitudes piss me off. Is it just me??

Super Moderator buffettphan Posted September 25, 2008 Super Moderator Share Posted September 25, 2008 No, it's not just you. I found myself getting more and more irritated as the video progressed. Just for starters.... First - Okay let's just overpopulate the world EVEN MORE! Second - Shouldn't the catholic church lose its tax exempt status after that political message? Third - If all churches lost their tax exempt status, the coffers of our local economies would be vastly improved.
Llwellyn
I thought the video was well-executed. But the idea that Catholicism has done anything but hurt this country and the world is incorrect. I don't know what Catholics have against the gays, perhaps they are worried that social acceptance of homosexuality would result in fewer Catholic men becoming priests? Spiderwire
I'm all for life. I'm all for family. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. A bunch o' guys wearing funny hats has absolutely nothing to do with that. Kinda makes ya wonder why the boys in Rome would be concerned with a US presidential election, though, don't it? Andy
In a time of economic crisis and war, it is nothing short of irresponsible to base your vote on silly issues like abortion and gay marriage. I hate this way of thinking.
Crazycatlady
I saw similar videos back when I was still a Catholic. I can't figure out if they pissed me off more than or now... It is the height of stupidity to pick one issue to form the basis of one's vote. If people want to vote out of they're religion, I point them to words like "stewardship" and "social justice" and "give all to the poor." Gar, people make me mad sometimes! Oh, and on the point of homosexuality: not everyone thinks it's wrong! How dare you force your beliefs on someone else. You don't seem to make a big deal about "OMG!" And that's the second commandment, dude! It was nice to get that out.
