Nixie Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 Thanks for writing about your deconversion. It had a lot familiarity to it. One day maybe I'll be as brave as you to write mine. One particular sentence really caught my attention: "If my friends were going to hell for their beliefs (or lack thereof) then I would be willing to join them there." That was the beginning of my deconversion as well. If all those amazing (but non-christian - shock! horror!) role models I had were going to hell, something was obviously wrong with what I had been taught. Thanks again.
