I tried to go back a about a monthish or so to ago. And it gave me what I think, is the most likly reason people go back, and I could describe it in one word. Uncertainty.

I got vary uncertain of what I researched and what I thought, between that and fear of hell, I tried to go back.

This dissonance was to great though. Though luckily it got the family off my back

Seems to me it's more like a spectrum than two groups. On one side, you have emotion, on the other you have reason. People who lie in the extremes (those severely emotionally offended and those severely intellectually offended) are less likely to leave, and those in parts of the middle (offense in the form of both types) are less likely to leave, but people who are less in both spectrums are more likely to go back....something like that.

I want to draw this to explain myself better...might see if I can. This might be of interest in the meantime: http://www.katsandogz.com/onreason.html

Edit: I drew this on paint real quick to try to explain myself a little better. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z203/lofnmusic/de-conversionmap.jpg Don't judge my beautiful piece of art, it's like 4:30 in the morning. :P

Edit2: I probably should have read the whole thread...I read the first page, and somehow missed that there were two whole pages after that. So...regard this as my thoughts on the first page.
